2020-21 Graduate Residents Co-Author Peer-Reviewed Article

Congratulations to six members of the Centre’s 2020-2021 Graduate Residency on the publication of their peer-reviewed article “Constellations of Community, Care, and Knowledge: A Collection of Vignettes from Pandemic Times in IDEAH: Interdisciplinary Digital Engagement in Arts and Humanities!

Co-authored by Theresa N. Kenney, Emily Goodwin, Alexis-Carlota Cochrane, Linzey Corridon, Maddie Brockbank, and Sarah Paust, this open-access article underscores the necessity of constellations of care and community in pandemic times, in and outside of the academy, through reflections on graduate training and mentorship in the digital humanities. This collection of vignettes emerge from the authors’ efforts to pinpoint, navigate, and problematize colonial and neoliberal definitions of mentorship, collaboration, productivity, pedagogy, access, and public scholarship.

Academic Director Andrea Zeffiro is acknowledged for her kind encouragement and keen editing both during the Residency and the article’s writing process. It is our pleasure to support this thought-provoking, prescient, and sensitive article. Congratulations to Theresa, Emily, Alexis-Carlota, Linzy, Maddie, and Sarah!
