Consultation and technical support on any stage or aspect of a digital scholarship or pedagogical project.

The Sherman Centre provides comprehensive consulting and technical support to McMaster students, faculty, staff, and community members and collaborators beyond the university, catering to a wide range of digital scholarship needs.

We offer guidance at any stage or aspect of digital scholarship or pedagogical projects, helping to determine the most suitable digital tools, techniques, and methods for projects of any scale. Whether you’re refining research questions, planning realistic deliverables for a degree-related digital project, or figuring out the best tools and skills for your needs, the Sherman Centre is here to assist. We can help you develop a work plan, think about project storage solutions, or even navigate the complexities of pursuing grant funding.

We are also pleased to offer instructional collaboration to instructors at McMaster. We provide access to software, classroom visits, software demons, and more.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are dedicated to supporting digital scholarship and pedagogical projects at any stage of development. With free consultations and instructional collaborations available, we’re committed to helping you achieve your goals.

Not Sure Whom to Contact?

The Sherman Centre for Digital Scholarship collaborates with partners to support research, teaching, and larger community work related to digital scholarship. We believe that effective and meaningful collaborations occur when staff and partners work together in the development process, and when all collaborators share a clear understanding of expected roles and responsibilities.

Please fill out the intake form below to request support and/or collaboration from SCDS. Once submitted, a member of the Sherman Centre will contact you to meet and develop a work plan for the collaboration.
